President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of new management teams in agencies under the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy as part of his current initiatives aimed at strongly positioning the agencies for improved performance and contributions to Nigeria’s economic growth.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, stated that with the reconstitution of the management teams in the agencies, the President anticipated that the involvement in the professionals to run the agencies would enhance theirs services in the digital economy sector and positively impact on the socio-economic development of the nation.
The new appointees are those of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), which now has Mr. Abraham Oshadami and Rimini Makama as Executive Commissioner, Technical Services and Executive Commissioner, Stakeholder Management respectively
Also, Mr. Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi was appointed as President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute.
The other new appointees are Mr. Abiodun Attah, who is taking over as the Executive Director, Technical Services in the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited while Aisha Abdullahi is to serve as the agency’s Executive Director, Finance & Administration and Jaiyeola Awokoya as Executive Director, Marketing & Business Development.
Similarly, Galaxy Backbone Limited, has a new team with Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju appointed as the Managing Director/CEO, Mohammed Sani Ibrahim, Executive Director, Finance & Corporate Services; Olusegun Olulade, Executive Director, Customer Centricity & Marketing; and Olumbe Akinkugbe, Executive Director, Digital Exploration & Technical Services
