President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of 21 new commissioners for the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC).
The Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity) Chief Ajuri Ngelale, who disclosed the appointment in a statement issued on Tuesday, stated that the appointments were subject to confirmation by the Senate.
He listed the new appointees and the states they represent as Mrs. Linda Nkechi Oti (Abia State); Akpan Imo Effiong, (Akwa Ibom State); Enefe Ekene, (Anambra State); Prof. Steve Ugba, (Benue State); Chief Eyonsa, (Cross-River State); Aruviere Egharhevwe, (Delta State); Nduka Henry Awuregu, (Ebonyi State); and Victor Eboigbe, (Edo State).
Others are Hon. Wumi Ogunlola, (Ekiti State); Hon. Ozo Obumreme Obodougo, (Enugu State); Alhaji Kabir Ibrahim Mashi, (Katsina State); Hon. Adamu Fanda, (Kano State); Dr. Kunle Wright, (Lagos State); Aliyu Abdulkadir, (Nasarawa State); Bako Shetima, (Niger State); Samuel Durojaiye, (Ogun State); Nathaniel Adojutelegan, (Ondo State); Hon. Saad Bello Ibrahim, (Plateau State); Modu-Aji Juluri, (Yobe State); Bello Rabiu Garba, (Zamfara State); and Mohammed Kabeer Usman, (Gombe State.
The President’s aide maintained that President Tinubu expected the new commissioners to demonstrate absolute fidelity in the discharge of their duties in the commission when they assumed office.
