The Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA) is set to host the two-day fourth annual meeting of the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF 2025) scheduled to kick off on June 16 this year in Abuja.
The high-level convening will bring together sovereign wealth funds, global institutional investors, development finance institutions, C-suite executives, thought leaders, and sector experts from across the continent’s investment landscape to foster strategic partnerships that align with a shared commitment to Africa’s sustainable development and economic transformation.
The Forum, which has as its theme “Leveraging African Sovereign Wealth Funds to Mobilise Global Capital for Transformative Development in Africa” will spotlight the pivotal roles of sovereign wealth funds and institutional investors in mobilizing regional and international capital to drive inclusive growth and transformation across the continent.
The two-day event will feature thought-provoking panel sessions, fireside chats and curated networking sessions aimed at deepening collaboration and catalyzing investment across priority sectors in infrastructure, energy, healthcare, technology, and more.

According to a statement from the NSIA, speakers on the planned forum include Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Wale Edun; Minister of Industry, Trade & Investments, Dr Jumoke Oduwole, and Chairman of the International Forum of Sovereign Wealth Funds (IFSWF) and the Africa Sovereign Investors Forum (ASIF); who is also the CEO, Ithmar Capital, Obaid Amrane.
Others are Chairman, Alliance of African Multilateral Financial Institutions (AAMFI) and President & CEO, Africa Finance Corporation (AFC), Samaila Zubairu; President and Chair, Africa Export–Import Bank (Afreximbank), Prof. Benedict Oramah; President, Lumumba and Lumumba Foundation, Prof. Patrick Lumumba; President, and Chief Investment Officer, China Investment Corporation, Liu Haoling; Chairman of Africa Private Capital Association (AVCA); and Managing Partner, Verod Capital, Danladi Verheijen; Chairman and CEO, COFIDES, Angela Perez; Chairman, Africa Milken Institute International, Ms British Robinson; and Director General, International Solar Alliance, Ashish Khanna.
