The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has launched WorkflowPro as its official platform for the digital submission and management of official correspondence between it and the general public.
The adoption of the WorkPro platform aligns with the present administration’s agenda and its commitment to institutionalizing a paperless public service and reflected the commission’s efforts to strengthen public governance by improving administrative efficiency, standardize records management in the public sector.
According to the management of the NIMC, the platform provides secured, structured, and traceable system for managing internal and external communications and by so doing, enhancing accountability and operational transparency of the commission.
Under the new framework, all external correspondence to NIMC will be processed electronically through WorkflowPro, which enables end-to-end tracking of submissions, accelerate internal routing and response timelines, and ensures secure electronic archiving of official records.

The latest approach eliminates the risks associated with manual handling of documents while also reinforcing compliance with the Federal Government’s established information management standards.
The implementation of WorkflowPro is consistent with the Federal Government’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) policy, which mandates the digitization of official records and elimination of physical file movements in all Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
In view of the innovation, all external correspondence addressed to NIMC must be submitted via the NIMC WorkflowPro platform, accessible through the official portal link or by scanning the designated QR code: Portal Link: https://workflowpro-nimc.com/Submit .
To support effective implementation, the NIMC has approved a 30-day transition timeline from the date of the announcement of the transition to the WorkPro platform, during which stakeholders are expected to acquaint themselves with the new process. Upon the expiration of this period, the commission will discontinue the acceptance of manually submitted letters and paper-based correspondence.
The platform forms part of a broader institutional reform agenda aimed at strengthening the security of official communications, reducing administrative delays and enhancing digital governance in the nation’s public service.
To achieve this objective, the commission urges all stakeholders in the political economy to take note of the policy directive and ensure full compliance.
