The leadership of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) paid a courtesy visit to the management of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to explore collaborative ways of further developing the technology sector for its improved contributions to the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the years ahead.
The NCS team, which was led by the President, Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu, was received by the NCC’s Acting Executive Commissioner for Technical Services, Engr. Abraham Oshadami, on behalf of the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), Dr. Aminu Maida, at the NCC’s Headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday.
During the meeting, the parties discussed areas of cooperation to boost the performance of the rapidly evolving s technology sector.
Maida assured the NCS President of the Commission’s support and emphasized the importance of involving industrial partners in the process.
Industry analysts believe that the NCS leaders’ visit further reinforces NCC’s commitment to fostering partnerships with key agencies that foster innovation and sustainable growth of the telecommunications and technology sector.
