The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has advised all telecommunication licensees to update any changes to their contacts information within seven days of occurrence in line with the Licensing Regulations 2019 guidelines.
The commission, in a statement issued by the Director of Public Affairs, Reuben Muoka, maintained that complying with this requirement by licensees was essential for effective regulatory oversight and seamless communication with licensees.
Specifically, the statement mandates the licensees to update some vital information via the NCC’s eServices platform at https://eservices.ncc.gov.ng by January 9, 2025, namely Physical Address: Principal place of business, including postcode, geographic coordinates, and landmarks; Mailing Address: If different from the physical address; and Email Addresses: Current and active email contacts.
Others are Telephone Numbers: Updated and reachable contact numbers; and Contact Personnel Details: Names and details of relevant personnel.
The commission warned that failure to provide accurate and locatable physical address details by any licensee would attract appropriate sanctions.
