The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has attained two internationally recognised certifications: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management System).
The certifications were awarded to the agency by MSECB, Canada, following a comprehensive and independent audit of its systems and operations.
A statement by the management issued by Director, Public Affairs and Consumer Protection,Henry Agbebire, indicated that this achievement confirmed that FAAN’s operational processes meet global standards for quality management, environmental responsibility, and continual improvement.
In addition, the Director stated that it also underscored the Authority’s commitment to delivering efficient, safe, and customer-focused airport services, while promoting sustainable environmental practices across all FAAN-managed airports.

According to him, the attainment of these certifications further strengthens the agency’s institutional credibility and positions Nigeria’s airports to compete more effectively on the global aviation stage.
The management of the FAAN thanked all stakeholders in the aviation sector for their continued support and commended the dedication and professionalism of its workforce in achieving this important milestone.
It restated its commitment to upholding international best practices and continuously improving service delivery across the Nigerian aviation sector.
