The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) on Friday announced the appointment of Mr. Isa Abdulmumin as its Acting Director of Corporate Communications Department, following the retirement of the Mr. Osita Nwanisobi from service.
Abdulmumin, a Deputy Director, has been in the apex bank for many years during which he has consistently exhibited a high level of professionalism in handling his official responsibilities.
Prior to his latest promotion, he had served as a special assistant to the Financial System Stability (FSS) Deputy Governor between 2009 and 2011 and also as a Special Assistant to the Corporate Services Deputy Governor from 2001 to 2009.
It would be recalled that Nwanisobi, was appointed the Director of Corporate Communications Department of the apex bank in October 2020 when his predecessor, Isaac Okorafor, retired from service.
