Accelerex Launches Nigeria’s First Pay With Fingerprint Solution

Accelerex Nigeria has launched a new digital payment solution – “Pay with Fingerprint”, the first of its kind to be deployed on Point of Sale (PoS) terminals in Nigeria and which allows bank customers to make secure and convenient payments at merchant locations using their fingerprints on biometric-enabled PoS devices.

The firm’s latest payment solution leverages advanced biometric technology to offer a seamless payment experience while enhancing security for consumers and merchants and also serves as a solution to digital payment problems such as card fraud as well as the inconvenience of carrying physical cards.

According to Accelerex, , one of the leading fintech companies in Africa,  convenience is a major feature of the solution as bank customers can make seamless payments by simply placing their fingers on the biometric PoS device.

Speaking on the “Pay with Fingerprint” solution, the company’s Managing Director, Chuks Anakudo, expressed his optimism  on the solution]s capacity to guarantee a more secure transactions environment for business owners and consumers.

Digital payment experts believe that the introduction of the solution is a further commitment of  Accelerex in not only pioneering the development and customization of this technology but has also achieved certification for biometric PoS devices by the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS).

Over the past few years since it debuted in the digital payment space, Accelerex has become a leading player in the fintech industry.
