NIRSAL Microfinance Bank Limited, Nigeria’s foremost micro lender in the nation’s agricultural sector, has won Interswitch’s 2022 Award of Recognition for Outstanding Performance and Consistent Contribution to the nation’s economic growth.
Interswitch is a Nigeria-based leading African integrated payments and digital commerce platform company headquartered in Lagos.
Speaking on the award, NIRSAL MFB Managing Director, Dr. Abubakar Kure, expressed the bank’s board and management’s happiness on the award of recognition to the bank, following a rigorous selection process.
Kure used the opportunity availed by the award to thank all NIRSAL MFB’s stakeholders and promised that the micro lender would continue to do more in order to surpass customers and other stakeholders’ expectations, through technology-powered, real time products and services delivery to its growing customers nationwide.
The 2022 award earned by the bank was presented to the management during the second edition of the Interswitch North Central Regional Forum tagged ‘Accelerating Growth and Profitability – Leveraging Technology’.
It would be recalled that NIRSAL MFB had last year won the best Microfinance Bank award using financial technology (Fintech) to deliver value to its shareholders, customers and nation’s financial system.
