MTN, Seplat Energy Seal 5G2Business Pact

MTN Nigeria, one of the leading mobile network operators (MNOs) in the country, has signed a 5G2Business Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Seplat Energy to deploy 5G services to facilitate business optimization for the oil firm.

The 5G2Business MoU demonstrated the advancements in business digital transformation in the country and analysts believe that the 5G will enable the oil firm to unlock new efficiencies, automate processes, optimise operations, and propel innovation and productivity to new heights.

Speaking on the deal, the  Chief Enterprise Business Officer of MTN Nigeria, Lynda Saint-Nwafor, enthused:We are thrilled to join hands with Seplat Energy to spearhead the integration of intelligent digital technologies into industry processes in Nigeria.

Industry experts believe that Seplat Energy’s adoption of 5G services is a further demonstration of the company’s  board and management to further drive the company’s operations on digital pedestal in the oil and gas sector in Nigeria.
