Biden Vows To Prioritize COVID-19 Fight In Economy’s Recovery Agenda

The United States President-elect, Joe Biden, has promised to rebuild all facets on America’s national life as a priority of his government in order to make Americans proud, once again, of their cherished country.

Biden, who gave the pledge in his post election speech, said one of the key reformation targets of the Democratic Party-led administration would be deal frontally with the COVID-19 pandemic to rebuild the nation’s economy, restore its vitality and enable Americans to relish life’s most precious moments which the pandemic had destroyed in recent months.

To demonstrate his commitment to the COVID-19 fight, the newly elected President promised that by Monday, November 8, he would constitute a group of scientists and experts to serve as transition advisors to the government for the purposes of converting into an action blueprint the Biden-Harris COVID Plan.

Biden said: “Our work begins with getting covid under control. We cannot repair the economy, restore our vitality, or relish life’s most precious moments — hugging a grandchild, birthdays, weddings, graduations, all the moments that matter most to us — until we get this virus under control.

“On Monday, I will name a group of leading scientists and experts as transition advisors to help take the Biden-Harris Covid plan and convert it into an action blueprint that starts on January 20th, 2021.

“That plan will be built on a bedrock of science. It will be constructed out of compassion, empathy, and concern. I will spare no effort — or commitment — to turn this pandemic around”, the enthusiastic President-elect added.

Reflecting on the bitter political tension that had characterized the election results over the past days, Biden urged the defeated Republican Party presidential candidate and incumbent President- Donald Trump – and his supporters to accept the election results in good faith and churn all forms of bitterness.

“The Bible tells us that to everything there is a season — a time to build, a time to reap, a time to sow. And a time to heal. This is the time to heal in America”, Biden said.

On his vision for a more united America, the President-elect promised: “I pledge to be a president who seeks not to divide, but unify, who doesn’t see red states and blue states, but only sees the United States.”
